On Apple's Mac OS X Yosemite and iOS 8, Bing becomes the default web search provider in the redesigned Spotlight search feature. When you search on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, alongside the contents of your device Bing will provide web search links so you can find information even faster.
The deal is made possible from a special project in the beginning of 2014. Under the direction of Bing's VP, a small team is assembled to conceptualize what would be possible if Bing is deeply integrated into iOS. We worked at fast pace on iteration, turning ideas from whiteboard sketches to high fidelity mockups. The designs cover various of search scenarios-from enrich the existing experience to "blue sky" new idea exploration. I also created the decks which were presented in three executive meetings to visually communicate the value and future potential of a Bing and Apple collaboration.
